The Assen circuit is a 4.555 km automobile and motorcycle racing circuit located 5 km south-west of the city of Assen in the province of Drenthe, in the Netherlands.

It starts in 1925, as a provisional circuit of 28.57 km traced on country roads paved with bricks. It was not until 1955 that a permanent 7.705 km circuit was built. The current circuit is the result of a profound evolution made in 2006.

The complex can accommodate 100,000 spectators and offers 60,000 seats.

Every year since it was founded there has been the Netherlands Motorcycle Grand Prix, also called the Dutch TT, as well as a round of the World Superbike Championship since the beginning of the 1980s. Like the "motodrome" of Hockenheim, this circuit has also been designed for motorcycles.
